A message about what we’re doing to assist our school system partners during the COVID-19 pandemic

Since mid-March, UpSlope Solutions has closely monitored the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the school systems that we service. We know that most of you have faced a mountain of nearly insurmountable challenges, including reviewing and enhancing your communicable disease, sanitation, and social distancing protocols, closing your schools under statewide “shelter at home” mandates (in many cases for the remainder of the school year), assigning all but essential employees to work remotely from home, scrambling to implement distance learning platforms to keep students learning, and repurposing transportation services to provide under privileged children with nutritious meals at home.

If you are starting to see some “light at the end of the tunnel” with your school system’s pandemic response efforts, we at UpSlope would like to salute your accomplishments by offering you and your supervisors a FREE two hour online refresher staff development session between April 20th and May 31st. Members of your team may join the session safely from home on any web-enabled device – no need to gather in the central office.

All sessions will be held on a first come-first served basis. To schedule yours today, call us at (800) 599-0350 x1.

"Is there a more effective way for us to manage staff productivity and conduct concerns?"

"Are we setting, reinforcing, and upholding clear expectations for staff ethics and conduct?"

"How can we make more defensible staff disciplinary decisions across the school system?"

"Are we limiting the use of exclusionary student disciplinary practices as much as possible?"

"When was the last time we quality assured our special education program?"

For this school district, the question wasn’t whether or not corrective and/or disciplinary action can or should be taken when necessary to address employee conduct concerns, but how to do so proactively, effectively, and defensibly. (More…)

A research-validated staff development regimen, a strong regulatory compliance framework, and a comprehensive quality assurance program were all considered “mission critical” co-requisites for the district’s school reform initiatives.
